I headed to the farmer's market after work and bought myself flowers. There's something about bright, fresh blossoms in my room that really makes me happy. I guess it's a small reminder of natural beauty. Living in southern California, there's so many false aesthetics pushed upon you everyday. I spend my life working in a mall, waiting on fake blondes with their louis vuitton purses, breast implants and face lifts, spending too much money on things no human being needs. I need to feel close to nature. Close to what's real. A little too over-analytical for flowers, I know. But it's a simple pleasure.
I also received my package from AsiaJam.com today! They have the most adorable merchandise. Most of it looks right off the pages of FRUITS! magazine, and I had to buy these hair clips.
I wanted so much more, but I have to save my money. I have the Renn faire in April, Loreena McKennitt May 10th, and then a weekend in San Diego. weeee.. I also want a treadmill, new computer, and Nintendo DS. Thankfully I work my ass of everyday and make decent money.
