OMG... The Pot luck madness has begun again!
Today: Cinco de Mayo Pot luck, Baby shower Pot luck & party
What I was expected to bring: -two- dishes and a present for a baby boy. (What I brought: Nothing! less than 24 hours is not enough notice! I may go get a bib or something on my lunch, but that will kind of be too late as the party is scheduled for 12pm...)
Tomorrow: Going away party for an employee
What I am expected to bring: A dish and a card (What I will probably bring: Storebought salad and a handmade (at work) card)
Friday: -Another- Cinco de Mayo Pot luck
What I am expected to bring: A dish and a dessert (What I will probably bring: Some store bought cookies.... or something....)
This is way too muuch! On top of that they are talking about bringing our dress code up to match NY... Which I might will be fine with if they provide a clothing allowance. (fat chance) To be quite honest, I do not make enough to dress Busines semi-formal every day. Pay for the clothes and pay me more and I will think about it.

Overheard in the office: "Yeah, I don't like them Mustachio cherries... I like the fresh ones from the tree with the bones in them and everything....."
