i was lying there thinking about it. it IS like a heartbeat. actually, that's the first thought that entered my brain when i first heard it in the silence. when things died down, it became alive. it calms me now. i can find a peace and consistency in it. (at least.) it serves as a reminder. i am thankful.
heart·beat (härtbt)
n.
1. A single complete pulsation of the heart.
2. A vital force or driving impulse.
3. An instant.
one-a-day : my friend has been down. it breaks my heart. i make dinner to make them smile and hope small gestures do some good against the bad.
i LOVE this woman:
“I usually get myself into situations that cause sparks. I mean I'm a girl that likes the storms. I love feeling alive, I love walking out in the cold in my bare feet and feeling the ice on my toes.” -Tori Amos
