BOSTON ROCKS!!!!!!
Of course, so do my friends, so that's kind of unsurprising... ::laughter:: It was so good to see RR and JI! And I actually got to see MS too! Whee! And I had the opportunity to meet a few of their friends up in Boston, which was awesome! Good people, also unsurprising. :-)
Friday night was interesting - got a flat tire on the way to the airport and my flight was VERY late getting in. I was supposed to be in Boston at 8:30pm, and I didn't get there until 11:20pm. Yeah. Me actually GETTING to Boston always seems to be an issue. Once I'm there, I always have a blast, though, so I'll keep trying!
After I finally arrived, the 3 of us headed over to a friend's place so I could meet the people we'd be hanging out with Saturday night for the Water-fire Festival. I had a great time, for the short while we stayed there. Saturday, into the city we went to Newberry Street! Yay for the Fairy Shop! (Come, now, if you know me, you HAD to see THAT one coming!) ::laughter:: Checked out a couple of other stores as well, and went into a chocolatier for some iced hot-chocolate. Gods, was THAT ever good! ::laughter:: Picked up some lunch and headed back home to await the arrival of MS and others. Water-fire was very nice. Pretty flames, (mostly) good music, and great company. We stayed out pretty late, as we were there until the music stopped playing around 1:20am.
MS stayed the night (as was the plan), and all 4 of us went to Rockport on Sunday. That was great, too. Lots of nifty little shops, seafood (mmmm), and more great company! My flight back home was fine, happily, and my Dad picked me up. Do be!
I didn't do so well at work today, but I'm not too worried. After all, tomorrow is a new day, AND a new month. Lookin' good. ;-)
