Do you go to school, work, etc?: I am a clinical coding specialist for a large academic medical organization. I also started grad school in the fall at Ball State University - I am pursuing an MBA with a concentration in health policy as well as a certificate in public administration.
Any children?: Nope.
Any Pets?: I have a bloodhound/lab mix named Angua, a pib/terrier puppy named Alannah, and the financial keeping of a geriatric tuxedo cat referred to as The Sir.
What is your living situation like?: I live with my fellow, my pseudo-brother, and the aforementioned critters, plus my brother's geriatric beast of a cat.
Love life?: Live-in boyfriend, spectacularly happy.
Do you have any disabilities/disorders?: Nothing relevant. Severe myopia, I guess :P
Top hobbies/interests?: Reading, knitting, cross-stitch, watching movies

Ginger. I have legally changed my last name three times (marriage, divorce, marriage), my first name once, and tweaked my middle name around a bit too. We do not discuss my original first name, so don't ask. Thanks. :)

I live in Fishers, Indiana, in an house with my significant other, my psuedo-brother, my dogs, my brother's awful cat, and the Sir.
04. OCCUPATION
I am a Certified Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders, which means I have letters after my name. I am a full-time grad student. I am a clinical coding specialist.
05. PARTNER?
He's this guy, you know? We've known each other for over ten years, informally-but-seriously (is that even a thing?) dated for a few months, and made it official in late February 2014 after our first Real Date (at the Venetian in Las Vegas).
06. KIDS?
I am childfree -- of the sane variety, not the intarwebs crazy sort -- and have been all my life. But I have several parent friends on my LJ who would, I hope, vouch for my lack of crazy in this regard.
07. BROTHERS/SISTERS
My brother is 2 years younger than me, married to a sweet lady, and lives in the mid-Michigan area along with their three kids. My sister is four years younger than me. I don't see them often, but we get along much better now that we're adults. Well, my brother and I do. My sister and I get along a little better, but not much.

a. I am in school full-time. I also work full-time.
b. I also love to read - especially historical non-fiction and auto/biographies, alternative history, and epic fantasy/SF series.
c. Traveling and spending time with friends.

My parents were married in 1975. My mother is also a medical coder/biller (she was thrilled when she found out I was sticking with medical coding and finance) for a small family practice in Grand Ledge, and my father has been half-owner of a small office furniture and supply store in Lansing since 1988. They live just south of Lansing with two cats.
11. WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR CLOSEST FRIENDS?
Wally and Ari are the best-beloved gentlemen of my heart, dinh and ka-mai together. Joyce is my heart-sister.
12. MISC:
I drive a 2011 Honda Insight named Jerrica - mild-mannered four-door hatchback by day, flashy outrageous aquamarine-blue zippy darling by night. I have eight computers (sort of) -- a Macbook Air named Sinclair, a 27" iMac named Sheridan, an older Macbook named Lorien, a Raspberry Pi named Marcus, a thrice-damned Windows 8.1 netbook named Morden, a geriatric tangerine iBook named Byron, and my very first ever computer, a 1983 Apple IIC named Brother Theo, and then my work computer is Lochley. Guess what my primary fandom is. I hate talking on the phone.
