Christmas time is crafting time!
I learned the following things about my almost 11 year old cousin Katy on Saturday:
1. She has a nearly complete super schmancy dollhouse and needs dolls to play in it with, but she does not like the regular kind because they have creepy faces.
2. What she wants for Christmas is "anything with fairies."
Something clearly had to be done.
The heads are wooden beads, the bodies are floss-wrapped wire, the clothes and hair are wool roving, and the wings are fake flower parts. Each one has her own magic staff made of various odds and ends. Click through to the Flickr account for individual photos.
