Fun and exciting things
In a list, of course, because who wants to form transitions in their free time?
1) New job! This week I started some exciting new employment as a librarian (actual librarian, not assistant) part-time at the Bound Brook Public Library. I'm going to be there 20 or so hours a week, and at Princeton probably about 15 (though some weeks I'll work more and some a little less). Bound Brook seems much, MUCH more relaxed than Princeton, and I'm getting paid for my degree for the first time. It's a little early to say much, but so far so good. At the very least the commute is much much shorter.
2) Have I mentioned that I love storytime? Bound Brook has awesome puppets and I am getting so freaking excited. I'm creating my own baby/toddler story series. Best of all is the tiny parachute I found in the box in the storyroom.
3) Holy shit I'm getting married in 5 months!
4) Jennie almost but not quite got a job out of state. Thank goodness...she's staying here, which is what I think is for the best. Living with her and Michelle is working out pretty nicely so far.
5) Hunger Games tomorrow night! We're not hardcore enough for a midnight showing (we like sleep), but Michelle and Jennie and I are going after work tomorrow. So exciting!
6) I'm really going to have to get used to this two jobs for the price of one thing. Way less free time, also way less feeling depressed and useless and way more money. I'll find a balance soon.
7) It's really, really gorgeous outside. We bought a grill and some lovely chairs.
