I'm not a big fan of the genre, but! If you don't mind spending about 20 bucks for a legit copy, I've seen this in Gamestop before. The target audience is tweens, but you might like it. It's cute, light, fluffy, and if you can't find it in stores, it's "worksafe" enough to ask your parents without too much awkwardness. In fact, Gamestop has some used copies for about 10 bucks on their site.

Also, I forgot to mention, but if you don't have the cash for Princess Debut, here's a freeware game in the genre. If the image posted is indicative of the rest of the game's art, it stands up to the Japanese visual novels I've seen, and it has a less cutesy theme than the last game. Plus, hey, it's free, and since it's in English you don't need to hunt down a translation patch.
