Ah Shou. *shakes head* Poor Shou indeed. We are mean to him as we are to Hiroto, Tora and Nao. Thus far Saga’s denial has saved him a lot of heartache. ^_^ It’s strange when we start writing because we have to be cautious and careful of who knows what to make sure the story stays accurate.
We’re curious, did you not like Aiko because you don’t like females in fan stories or because you didn’t like how we portrayed her? The last thing we want in any character is for them to be ahhh - like a Mary Sue. For us to grow as writers we just want to be sure we’re not stumbling on novice mistakes.
Shiki is wise and dedicated to his cause. We are absolutely glad you liked that he tried to make Tora see. Tora did need to see and experience part of the mistake he made for his curiosity. But to be fair we can’t really blame him, he’s much too adorable. It’s difficult to be mad at him for too long.
Ah yes, Nao. He’s…I think it’ll be fair to say his ‘poor’ moment might surpass Shou’s. We feel particularly bad about Nao, and have since the inception of this story. Every time I come across a video with him where he’s smiling and laughing I show Jackie and ask her if she’s sorry for what we did to him.

No, no, you portrayed a likeable character, she just seemed like a third wheel in my ShouxHiroto frame of mind. It seriously did, poor Nao... I'm still speechless on that matter.
Ah okay - that’s very awesome answer. I am entirely understanding of that mindset. It doesn’t help that I’ve recently become a Shou/Hiroto fan as well. Tora and Saga were always my favored ship, if there is going to be a ship, but lately I’ve fancies Shou and Hiroto. That isn’t to say I can’t ship anyone if it’s well written, I think Jackie and I have beaten that horse to death - the idea that anyone can be shipped as long as it’s written well and believable. We have been trying hard not to say whom our favorite ships are as not to seem biased - but I think it’s rather obvious that we both fancy Tora and Saga. ^_^
Ah yeah, I didn’t expect the reveal to be quiet like this. Though we had to come to some decisions about Nao’s situation and how to proceed with it and keep it moving as opposed to letting it get stagnant. So we made an executive decision to pull the reveal forward and do it now rather than later. It is just a matter of us getting in the mindset of the reader knowing and not the characters. It’s structure stuff at this point, behind the scenes puppet string pulling. Even still - I’m glad it had an effect, the desired effect too. I actually feel really bad about Nao, really-really bad. Jackie feels less bad than I do, I think. ^_^ Of course when I say I feel bad for Hiroto she tells me he’s a whiner and needs to suck it up - Shou too.
