Hello! I need your help!! All of you guys.
I am writing a paper for my English class and I need to get some research done. That is where you come in!! I want you to talk about your school (whether you are still in school or not) and tell me about how it works.
Why do I need this? Because we have a lot of friends on here who are not from the US and I

- I would have registration at 8:45am and lessons would start at 9am.
- School would end at 3:30pm (best time of the day haha)
- I would walk cos it was only about 10-15 minutes away.
- I took throughout my time in secondary school: Maths, English, Science, Geography, History, French, Physical Education, Religious Education, Art:Drawing and Painting, Art:Design and Technology, Art:Textiles, P.S.H.E (sorry I can't remember what it stands for now!) Maths: Statistics, I.T, Drama.
- I went to school 5 days a week.
- I guess 2 to 3 hours spent on homework, depending on what it was.
- School unifrom, so that would be black tights, grey skirt, white shirt, grey and black striped tie and a black blazer with the schhol badge on it!
- All my teachers were nice pretty much, except my English one, he used to pick on me alot! Students were typical, some quiet, some brainy, some naughty, some annoying!
- We would take french tests every few weeks, Maths every lesson (little mental arithmatic tests T_T) the other subjects every now and then, we had SATS tests in year 9 I think and normal GCSE's in Year 11.
-How school made me feel - I had a nice group of friends, made friends quite well through out different classes. Learned well, wasn't too strict, easy to talk to teachers about problems. Got lost a bit when I started but then things were easier when I knew where I was going. Gave me alot of confidence, especially in lessons like Drama, acting in front of people. All in all school was enjoyable because of my friends and certain lessons!
Well I have quite a few American friends that I talk to online, but I've never met anyone from America in person unfortunately. I think sometimes Americans can over exaggerate a bit and they have a different sense of humour so English and Americans don't always understand eachother but obviously this doesn't apply to you and my other Americans friends, your lovely so don't take it to heart! I hope the information was helpful ^_^

I am glad that you helped me out on this--there are many people here that don't respect that other English speaking nations are different too. That irritates me quite a bit--so I want to show them this and go LOOK! It is! Quite clearly it is! Though there are similarities, there are quite a few differences too.
I think you hit on it perfectly, my friend. For some reason, they don't always understand each other and it can be nasty. But! I am glad that doesn't apply to you or myself. ^_^ Thanks for your help, really!
