So, last time I said that my next project was supposed to be a more direct Inception/Torchwood cross, right? Well... That was before I came across a pair of prompts on the kink meme that caught my attention, and since they were posted by the same anon, simply begged to be filled by interconnecting fics. So my latest Arthur character study is complete (here we go again...) and a Burn Notice/Inception fic that is very definitely not going to be contained by one chapter is in the planning stages. However... I think my plans to do Torchwood will get melded into this, and since that was supposed to involve a couple of older fics in the Primeval fandom that are AMTBR tie-ins... Burn Notice just became fandom nine to be tied in with AMTBR somewhere. What the hell, am I making every show I watch plus one film (Inception) into one reality?? This was not the intention. Note that I can't seem to get myself back into the main universes of AMTBR, the side ones are drawing all my at attention. I only have a chapter or two left plus a final fic that I can probably make into a oneshot before one of the two main arcs of the series is closed - why can't I do it? I know the problem with the other one - anyone who likes Doctor Who fanfic and has advice on writing Ten, please share!!
On the bright side, this new plan for my next project is going to be fun. I'm thinking eventual A/A/E right now, with some pre-movie A/E (UST-only) as a possibility. But Arthur has sisters. He has two sisters, and they like meddling, much to his dismay. *pats him on head*
In other news, met my Design lab prof, and she seems pretty cool. Final judgment pending, of course, but I think I like her. Depending on how much I like them, the projects for that class may end up here. Also, I finally got hold of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's Good Omens, by finally being smart and downloading a PDF. Highly amusing, but I must resist the temptation to read it in the classes I take my laptop to because I fear that I won't be able to hide how entertaining it is. Oh, Aziraphale and Crowley should just sleep together already, I mean really. They are my favorite part, though I like the entire book.
I'm toying with the possibility of doing another Inception meta. The first was shockingly well-received - I thought it was a terrible ramble but apparently not? - and I do have other things tumbling in my head. Mostly on forging, and I tapped into my theories a bit in fic, but a meta is better for that. Hmm. *walks off pondering*
