Matters of the heart
It is not difficult to pry yourself away from this world, your heart is naturally inclined away from it. But you know what IS difficult? Prying yourself from the expectations of the ones you love. How do you convince them that the safe path might not be the right path for you? I can take a tentative step in the other direction, but my foot cannot firmly place itself on the floor till you believe it belongs there. Or maybe this is just in my head. Okay, just go ahead, let yourself bend in the direction that your heart is inclined to, then ask Allah for help. Always, always ask Allah for help.
