So, interesting weekend. ....I say everything is interesting, don't I? lol.
Anywho, so, did Sights & Sounds with the girls on Friday. We were supposed to be working the "hot drinks" booth... but apparently they stuck all of MGC in there and there were like 20 extra people. lol. Real. Smart. :P So, we went back to the volunteer booth and told them that we got sent back 'cause there was too many people. So, we're standing around, waiting to be given something to do. And then one of the volunteer ladies comes up and says that we can hand out these bracelettes to kids/parents. They have to have the parents phone numbers on the back, and if a kid gets lost, they go to the information desk and if the kid has a bracelette, the people at info. call the parents and VUALA! haha. Kid is back with parents. All is well at Sights & Sounds.
But... honestly, how wierd is it to go up to a parent and their kids with these bracelettes. And you're going up like, "Hi... we're working with Sights & Sounds to keep your kids safe. Would you like this bracelette in case they get lost?"
Hell, if I were a parent, I'd feel like you were deliberately saying that I would lose my kids at a fair... haha. What the parent must hear is: "Do you want this for your kid, 'cause you know they're gonna run off and get lost!" hahaha. I know... how pessimistic... but I just took my pill, so it'll wear off in a bit. lol.
Anywho, after Sights & Sounds, we head to Jones for some pre-drinking food. lol. We sat around calling each other out about all kinds of messed up stuff. lol. But that's what sisters do best ;) haha. So, yeah, after Jones we went to Celix's.
Wait... off for Chinese... will be back to finish in a bit ;)
