(no subject)
So I was in a rush on the way to work, and left without getting my water. I didn't realize this until I was already there. I'd brought some dollar bills with me to exchange for quarters with which to do laundry, and by my break I was dying for something to drink. The sodas in the machine are fifty cents each, which isn't much, so I went ahead and got one. I put in a dollar, and the machine said "PLEASE USE EXACT CHANGE". Then it spat out my Sprite and $1.50 in quarters. I almost pity the poor addled machine, but I did get 50 cents and a free Sprite out of its confusion.
