Hey, whoa, update!
1. I'M GOING TO SEE THE THREEPENNY OPERA!!!!! I conned Heather from work into going. Now to just decide on a day. *does a happy dance*
Oh, and thanks for nothing "friends list" (there are exceptions....you know who you are....).
2. The irony that the radio station at my work plays the Scissor Sisters song "Mary" boggles my mind. The song had been stuck in my head....so I finally jotted down a few lyrics and googled it. Boy was I shocked. I love the Scissor Sisters....probably more than life....and the irony makes me smirk. Because I get into fights at work, at least once a week, with the conservative religious "right" that work at my store about gay issues, how Will and Grace does, in fact, rock my socks, and how the rainbow umbrella at the front of the store needs to be bought. And I need to be here when it does (we had two....and Heather and I were both shocked to discover one missing and knowing that neither of us had sold it).
3. Labyrinth also rocks my socks. I will buy this movie as soon as I can.
4. I am, once again, addicted to The Kids In The Hall. And my crush on Dave Foley has, yet again, exploded within my chest. God....he's such a cute little fucker. Why did he have to get lasek?....no more Dave in glasses for me. *sniff* And Kevin as well....still cute as a button. And, AND, they might do another tour soon. They sold out gigs in LA in February....so hopefully they take this as a sign and tour the states again. I'll be the first in line with my 2000 tour shirt on. I swear to god, I was the youngest person there last time (15).
5. Find the video for 30 Seconds To Mars' song "The Kill"....yes, the one I claimed. Watch it, love it, and learn something about hotness.
6. I didn't make it to Tribeca. My heart is broken. I really wanted to see Driving Lessons damnit....
7. Common Rotation are playing in Philly on the 17th at the World Cafe, in the middle of the goddamn day....for two hours! *thud* And I can't go. I believe I remember seeing that I was scheduled on that day. I could always get someone to switch with me....but then I have no one to go with....and I can't go see them alone. It's intimidating enough being surrounded by people when they play....to not know anyone would be scary.
