I'm sitting on my godmother's couch trying not to throw anything at her television with its jacked up reception. I'm watching the Bears be inefficient against the Vikings.

I'm having quite the house-sitting adventure, Agnes the cat is really, really sick, which is making me nervous. They told me to take her to the vet if she doesn't have an appetite. So if she keeps not eating tomorrow we're going to go to the vet. Whee! Then Miller the cat got trapped in the neighbors' basement. Thankfully I'm also cat sitting over there so I didn't have to break into their house, just snoop around for keys.

Last night we went out to the Liars Club for some dancing and PBR. It was quite fun and we all looked adorable. But then I stubbed my toe on the way home and its bloody and really painful. The best part about sleeping at the Wicker Park house is that there isn't really any sunlight shining into my north-facing room which means I slept until 11:45, which felt glorious.

Then I ate half a pizza, green peppers, tomatoes and black olives. Delish.

This weekend marks my 1 year anniversary living in Chicago. Which seems kind of crazy. I am not really considering it a year until January because the first three months were so crazy with the finding of the job(s) and not knowing anyone. But still, I guess I'm technically a resident, which means I should probably get a driver's license or something...but I probably won't. I still think this a temporary thing. I'll be back on the East Coast within 3 years.

I'm about to start my final class at the iO training center. By the end of '07 I'll be a certified improviser (or something). In January I start an 8 week run of shows which will seal the deal one way or another about whether I get chosen for a team or not. I'm excited and nervous about the whole thing. Thanks to my interning I've gotten to know a lot of the "veterans" around iO, it would be so awesome to get to perform with them.

This football game is absurd. Oh Bears, you make it so hard to love you.
