scary.
I'm not getting much work done today. I just keep checking the news sites, then my phone, then looking at all the papers on my desk and not caring -- lather rinse repeat.
I know there are 26,000 people at VTech- which is enormous, but the number of people I know personally, or through a friend or through a friend's friends' girlfriend's cousin that go to tech is pretty big too. I mean, we call it tech. We don't need to add the whole "Virginia" thing. Thats how common place it is for people from my hometown to go there.
I'm assuming for the time being that no news is good news-- the people I'm closest to who go there are all accounted for, but all the people who I've been to parties with or graduated with but fallen out of/never been in touch with are still (to me) missing. But again-- I have enough friends of friends that someone will call if they hear something.
So now its just waiting...who knows how long it will take before all the information gets filtered through, I mean, they still don't know what the total body count is yet.
