ok so first day in NY....
we headed to all of the theatre book stores, and we went to Times Square and checked out all the theatres.
we were walking into a book store, and i happened to spot a rather famous film actor and Broadway actor....
Harvey Fierstein! for all the movie people, he played the gay brother of Robin Williams, in the movie Mrs. Doubtfire, and for all the theatre people, he played Edna - Traceys mother, in the Broadway production of Hairspray, and is now playing Tevye, in the Broadway production of Fiddler in the Roof.
walking through the streets, we also saw James Earl Jones, who did the voice of Mufasa in The Lion King, and is currently the lead in the Broadway show On Golden Pond.
theres a famous restaurant called Sardis in Times Square, and its known for all the famous people that go in there to have dinner, well we were walking by, and again, he just happened to notice a familiar face, and we realized it was Sherie Rene Scott, again, for the theatre people, she played Cathy, in The Last Five Years, she's cureently in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which i will be seeing on saturday, and she has also been in Broadway Productions of Aida, Rent, and Grease.
well, im going out to dinner, so i will see you all soon!!
