Not that it matters what I think, but really, I constantly get questions like that at work (Wal-Mart) and I thank God that He can bring me back to realizing why I'm here and what my purpose is: to glorify Him through how He made me - which is to love Him and love people. I can get rather technical when I get that question, "So what's your religion?" Immediately, I ask, "Define religion."
Haha... you probably know all this from being at TFC for as long as you were (btw, I don't hold anything against you for not going, if anything I miss you, and that's not to get you to come back or anything. Know that you're more than welcome if you should come back and if you don't, I still consider you a sister in Christ). I then ask if they REALLY want to know what I believe and if they are REALLY interested, I go ahead and explain my relationship with Christ rather than a religion for Christ. It's a nice little change from the usual "hellfire and brimstone" convo. I enjoyed this post, gave me a little lightbulb - thanks! :D Take care, love. -aa <><
