The first month of the year is shaping up nicely. I wish I had gotten out a little bit more during my time off from school.
Going to NYC the other weekend was nice though. I've been able to see Jay a lot more without toting my books everywhere I go. Next semester I've signed up for 19 credits. No, it's not because I don't want to see any of you.. it's because I NEED TO GET OUT!! I'm counting on pushing my car until I'm done and can confidently sign a loan for a new car with the money I have coming in from a teaching gig. Unfortunately I get depressed trying to map out my progress in school since it's still a ways out.
Last night I saw glitterkid. It was awesome catching up since our plans had fallen through a few times. We went to Cheesecake Factory and had some good albeit expensive food and Sangria (wow it was good!). We then went to Sephora where I got a ghetto mini facial and a skincare recommendation. I'll let you know what the progress of it is in a few weeks. It makes me face feel nice after washing but I don't think it's good with oil control so far.
