My first Firefly icons!

Let's see. As is obvious, I like to take the same image and play with it and try to make several different icons from it. Usually b/c I find the image so irresistible that one icon just doesn't seem enough. :-) Whether they're different enough to be worth it is up to you. :-) You can find the regular size version of the image from #s 5-8 here. Check it out--it's worth it! :-) *siiiiiigh*
Resources (including where to find Chinese translations) are in my Resource Post, and each icon has individual credits here.
Many thanks to _lady_graphics_ for uploading the caps from the special features of the Firefly DVD after my request on capitrequests. While I just used the one image of Nathan from the special features this time, I'll be making more icons thanks to her generous use of time and energy and her impressive alacrity!
In #5 the quote is from Firefly, "Serenity, Part 1." In #6, the lyrics are from Joss Whedon, Firefly theme song. In #9, the lyrics are from U2, "Even Better Than the Real Thing," Achtung Baby (Island Records, 1991). 12) The translation is "Stupid jerk!" 13) The translation is "grief, deep sorrow." 14) The quote is from Firefly, "Objects in Space."
