warrrrrrrington, nooowwww

May as well throw in an update about the second and third days of my Warrington trip. Take a deep breath, it's TERRIBLY INTERESTING.
The most part of Wednesday was spent at Philb's house; by the time Philh and I had managed to get dressed etc (well, really me but anyway) it was almost 3 o'clock so we were at Mr Browne's house after 4, so we got barbecque out and then ran off to the shop and bought beer'n'burgers. As manly men do. Kieran was then the first of other people to appear, followed by Luke 'Accents Excite Me' boy, and then Laura and Emily. I was looking forward to meeting Laura, her being the wife of Philb and such. She wasn't disappointing, which was good. Emily also was very nice, I like these new people.
Much beer was consumed and burgers were enjoyed. The bbq itself was ruined when mad torrential rain came as well as thunder etc. We stayed out and played swingball, got completely drenched. It was fun though.
We left Philb's then at about 12, after the usual teaching English people how to say NOWWWW, Norn Iron style, etc. Then Philh and I, being the sensible children we are, started watching The Edukators at 1.30am, then watched football until 4am. I then oh-so-kindly burst into his room at midday today and was like PHIL GET UP I'M BORED. I'm not sure he was terribly happy about that, but by 1 we were in town and bought us some lunch (sushi and pasta, oh laaarrr) and visited the main sights of Warrington (DVD shops, Starbucks, M&S) and got a bus back to his after 4, and watched some hardcore lesbian stuff- Sugar Rush, haha. Then we went to a pub called The Plough and got dinner with his maaa (who is very nice. I am a a fan of her). After that collapsed at his for a while, then went off to the airport which was absolutely packed and absolutely roasting. Painful. My flight was slightly late and irritating people were pushy at baggage reclaim, but aside from that I am a cheerful girl now.
My England friends are fabulous.
