a day of travel
so i just got to florida, it was a long day of travel. the airport is a real hassle. i really didnt like going through security and all the people and whatnot... what a bummer. so on the flight, theres this guy sittin by me who smells really bad. i know i take alot of showers, so i guess i might hold a high standard on cleanliness, but this guy really did smell, i mean he must not have showered today. it really bothered me. there was also this REALLY rude flight attendant, she was super uptight; kind of reminded me of the staff at purdue. so we get to the place, and my mom had gotten this car service to drive us to the hotel, it wasnt a limo, but it wasnt a taxi... kind of in between i guess. anyway, the driver is holding up a sheet with our name on it, i thought that was funny... it made me laugh. so when we get to the hotel, theres this lady in the drive up thingy to get our bags and whatnot, and one of the first things she says to me is, "can you see me? cause your bangs look in the way." well lady, obviously i can otherwise i dont think i'd have my body turned to you making eye contact. and second of all its none of your business whether i can see you or not. but she was nice, so i didnt really mind. then we met some of my mom's business associates or whatever, and they also had something to say about my hair. my mom's reply was, "i pick my battles, and his hair isnt one of them." ok, about 3 hours earlier she was nagging me about my hair being in my eyes, and yesterday she about freaked cause i had wet hair and it was in my eyes. i about fainted. my mom is a real hypocrit. i cant stand it. BAH. so i'm really tired, but excited about going to see FSU. so yeah... i'm tired... later.
