Belated updates
Sinead did a wonderful show last week, with all the silly talking I'd hoped/expected from all the various bootlegs of her I've got - topics, beyond the obvious family/politics/religion, included leg shaving, and why capos so often get stashed in underwear. The crowd was 133 people, including some folks from vh1 who taped the first 3 songs. No idea when/if they'll be broadcast, but I wager they'll be youtubed shortly thereafter by some enterprising fans. Everyone went nuts when she mentioned The Lion & The Cobra -- once we settled down, she apologized for leading us on, explaining that the next song's lyrics were the psalm that gave that album its name, and she'd not actually be doing anything from it that night.
But she ended with Black Boys on Mopeds, and it was fucking glorious.
I recorded her show a few nights back on the radio.. mostly talking, but a few songs. Got to edit out 20 minutes of show before and after she was on, and then I'll post it to rapidshare or something, if anyone wants it.
