Fandom-y stuff
So. I guess no one who can actually buy stuff from the US iTunes Music Store wants to buy Youth Group's version of Forever Young, convert it to some sort of unprotected file and send me it? Thought not. *g*
I had my first assessed practical of the year today. And I didn't even know it was assessed until I got to the class. Last year only 3 of the 6 practicals we did were actually assessed - apparently this year they've changed things, they're now assessing all of them. Which means we have to write up all of them. Which (probably) means more work for Alison. :(
But let's not think about such depressing things. Let's think about much better things, like the season premiere of Veronica Mars. OMG. The bus. I mean, I'd read something about a bus crash, but it didn't actually sink in until the end of the ep when we saw it. It never occurred to me as they were getting on that it was that bus. But what a fabulous choice Ashes was for the end music. Would anyone be jealous if I mentioned that I saw Embrace do that live at the Edinburgh Live 8 gig? *g*
Surprisingly, I'm not too bothered about Veronica being with Duncan. I mean, I'm a big Logan/Veronica shipper, but it'd be boring if they just got together and stayed together without any real problems. We need conflict, people. So she's allowed to be with Duncan, for now at least. Logan's too messed up just now, anyway - he needs to sort himself out before he can think about being with someone else.
I want to rant about The OC, too, and how I totally called it, but I'll save that for when I actually know what I want to say. Cause right now I haven't a clue.
And you know what? I'm not going to make this friends only, just to be random. And cause there's not really anything in it I don't want anyone seeing. *g*
