pride & ignorance
Salesladies in our country kind of suck. I hate how when I walked into this optical store a while ago, a barrage of salesladies started peddling all sorts of high-brand eyewear to me. And though they were open a week ago, they were dangling this whole 'may grand sale kami ngayon dahil grand opening namin. tignan mo bulaklak namin sa labas. bili ka na ng Giorgio Armani.' Putangina...tapos lahat...as in lahat pinasuot sa akin and then when I said I'd come back they practically forced me to reserve the pair of glasses I SORTA liked. It would be cool if they had the same passion for music or books...like if you walk into National Bookstore or O music store, they actually have a clue what you're talking about when you ask for an artist. God, I'm so ignorant sometimes.
Anyway, I saw the new house my mom bought today. It's in Arcadia, which is actually an okay neighbourhood 'cause it's small and there aren't too many Chinese families. At least soon, I won't have to stay in Koreatown, which'll probably do a lot for my national pride. Yeah right, I'm practically oreo in spirit. God, I'm so ignorant.
I was stupid enough to schedule all 3 exams today...so I had philo orals at 8 am, theo orals at 9, and my histo test at 930. I'm fucking smart, I know...but it's all over (a bloody war, indeed) and now that my school leash has temporarily been untied, I don't really know what I'm gonna do. I know I had plans. Where are they now? God, I'm ignorant.
