Update on my life...
I haven't updated in a long time because the past month or so has been pretty hectic, upsetting, and pretty much just overwhelming as a whole. A little over a month ago my uncle passed away while he was here on vacation with my aunt. They came from India in February even though my uncle was not in the best of health. Although he was alright, in some respects, you could tell that he really shouldn't be traveling. Anyway, so after he died on the 26th of March we had a lot of people in and out of our house that week. Thursday, the 30th, was the viewing and then on Friday my mom, aunt, and I went to India. We were planning on going anyway so that I could go see the med schools there, but it turned more into a trip for the funeral.
After we arrived, we went to see the schools and then on Wednesday we attended the funeral. Friday night we left India. I got a horrible sunburn, but I also did a good amount of shopping so it evened out the sadness/happiness of the trip. Hehe... The next couple of weeks I just worked and then two weeks ago we found out that my moms cousin passed away. Soon after we got another phone call informing us of my grandmother's cousin's death. And to top it all off a week ago our neighbor died of complications related to a brain tumor. I wrote about his condition earlier on here.. That was such a shock. Yeah so we've had quite a few deaths in the past 6 weeks and that is why I haven't written anything in here.
I'm really hoping that the summer brings happiness and many good times, lol.. Honestly, though I can't wait to start school in India. I will miss everyone here, but I think it's time for a change of atmosphere. My mother's side of the family is all in India so it's not like I will be all alone anyway.
I guess that's all I have to say right now. I hope everyone is doing well.
