Notes: Contains spoilers for episode 6x05 “Live Free or Twihard.”
Word Count: 165
His entire body is sore from the battle with the vampires and then from the cure that his grandfather had made. He does his best to hide the tremors that are running through his body as he stands up and acts as if everything is fine. Dean doesn’t say anything to his brother or his grandfather as he stares stonily at them waiting for one of them to challenge him. He doesn’t trust either of them so he refuses to tell either of them how weak he is. Neither of them challenges him although Dean catches his grandfather watching him and Dean pointedly ignores the older man. He doesn’t have the time or the patience for the older man’s games right now. He has far more pressing concerns on his minds, such as the memory of Sam watching the vampire turn him. Dean files away everything for later analysis, including the possibility that Sam allowed him to become a vampire to further his own cause.
