Notes: This is a poem and not a fic. It's also a character study of the two slayers.
There was a girl who was the stereotypical California girl
Until destiny was thrust upon her and vampires became her foe.
There was another girl who just trying to survive in the cold
And then destiny was given to her and everything changed.
When the two girls meet, it was like looking into a carnival mirror
Their reflections were distorted and didn't show true
For the blonde girl's reflection showed the dark girl
Just as the dark girl's showed the blonde girl.
Their destinies became entwined and connected for good or ill
No matter how much they fought it.
Finally after defections, betrayals and bitterness,
One girl was the victor and the other was in the land of dreams.
And when the blonde looked into the mirror,
She saw her reflection true again.
