Underneath it all, Adelle knows that Roger is nothing more than a creation, yet she finds herself falling for the illusion. She enjoys his touch, his kisses, his conversation and his company. There are days when she counts down to the next encounter that she has booked with him. With Roger, she can be more relaxed and less cold. She can be herself and although she knows full well that she has come to rely on Roger far more than she should, Adelle allows herself to fall deeper in love with an active that has been imprinted with her idea of the ideal romantic partner. There’s a part of her, underneath it all, that realizes that she’s know better than some of the clients that she privately sneers at.
