All the interconnecting threads of the parallel worlds...I wonder if whatever Faith "did" to Darla coincided with her resurrection by Wolfram and Hart?
This Faith, no matter how much she wants to be selfish, is still letting herself get invested in other people.

I find this story both fascinating and disturbing. It's got inside my head now, and I believe I shan't easily get it out. A testament to your wonderful writing :)

I think Faith in general can't help but get invested in the lives of other people, whether it's the Mayor or later on Angel. There's quite a few examples of her getting involved when it's the not necessarily the best thing for her to do so.

That aside, thank you for your feedback. It wasn't an easy story to write because of the verse it was set in.

I like the way you built up the Normal-verse. You kept both girls in character and you did a great job with pacing and tone.

I actually want you to write more in this 'verse. I want you to write about Darla and Drusilla and Sandy and how their lives are affected by their mental state.

NA!verse and buffyverse therapy stories are catnip for me; I read this one a few months ago but didn't reply (have no idea why) but haven't forgotten it. I've never seen faith in a NA verse story but it makes so much sense for her to be there, given her own struggles. The history those two share, whatever shreds of it faith remembers are incredibly poignant here. there can only be one Chosen One at once - even here faith is displaced.
