Valentine's Day is so interesting. it's all lovers gloating about their dinner plans and single people ranting about consumerism. why are single people (and some couples too i guess) so upset by vday? it blows my mind. alright, it's a greeting card holiday made big by companies. it's true and that's lame. however, it is still a nice opportunity to eat chocolate and tell people you think they're cute. also, who cares that it's a fake reason to take your girlfriend/boyfriend on a date? it's a reminder when things get hectic to slow down and say something nice to your significant other. maybe i'm naive, but i think there's something sweet about it.

on that note, i'm going to a frat dated party with an open bar tonight. i plan on embarassing both myself and my date. cheers to St. Valentine.
