But I'm afraid you'll be bored, because I literally haven't done anything since I got home from Disney World. I worked a bit, it snowed a bit, and I watched twenty two episodes of Supernatural (and went out and bought Season 2).
Ummm...
Things have been pretty quiet at Casa Davis. Oh! I got my hairs cut and I was going for this look (Kirsten Dunst)

and I got something that actually looks a little more punk rock but not in a weird way... it's hard to explain.... it's all angles cut to frame my face, but it's not short. It's... piece-y.
Wow, that was an awful description, but I can't think of a better way to say it. I really like it because it simultaneously is a new look for me and actually looks like something you'd see on TV but could never actually get your own hair to do, so that's exciting for me. Because basically my whole life until this point has been about skating by and not caring what I looked like (to a degree -- I brushed my hair) but now I have a lot of new clothes, new makeup, and new hair, and I hate to sound like a nineties makeover victim survivor movie character but I actually do feel like it's given me a new attitude. Mind you, this wasn't yesterday when I got the haircut but overall over the past... four years.
O_o something just moved in the family room and I'm the only one down here... That happened last night too -- I heard something fall in the kitchen and thump the floor while I was in there, but no one else heard anything and I couldn't find what did it. And then, a few nights ago, I woke up in the middle of the night because I heard the bottom stair creak -- okay, this is weird but ever since I started living downstairs I know who is coming down or going up the stairs just by the way they sound when they're walking, and this was definitely the bottom step because it creaks a certain way but there was no sound that sounded like a footstep with it. Like, usually, when the step creaks, you hear the thump of the foot before the creak because the person hasn't put any weight on it yet. But this was in the middle of the night and there was no footstep, and it was definitely incongruous because it woke me up and nothing that makes noise down here wakes me up anymore.
So, basically, to sum up this longwinded sidetrack, I don't think my house is haunted or anything.... but it is weird.
Any-who, there's supposed to be a lot of snow today, which I'm kind of excited for because I love to feel cozy in my house when it's snowing (or raining or just cloudy -- I'm actually not much for sunny weather).
I'm playing my new Nancy Drew game today (I'm both incredibly excited and bothered by my excitement but who cares!?) so I have entertainment for the whole day, and then maybe some Supernatural later (Jillian started watching with me and she really likes it -- it's definitely one of those shows that's more fun to watch with someone else than by yourself.)
I'll definitely try to update tomorrow -- maybe I'll tell you about my ND games (which you should go out and buy).
