Ikr? My boss wanted us to be rainbow colored. She of course had to have the GREEN hair just because she likes it. Apparently this is the 2nd Annual Singapore Tattoo Convention; not bad for a tiny country like us; it's cool we're opening up to body art and i'm all for it. There were a lot of different artists from different countries. Japan, France, Taiwan, China, USA and Malaysia too! My artist is from the Philippines! Hahah! I didn't think of Sally, but now that you mention! I think it'll be even more edgy to do the expansion! Of course I'll post pics if i expand; I'll gladly show my chubby back for that!
I do? LOL. I wanted to cut bangs but one of my friend's had remarked that i have a childish face. I guess i do look like a kid after all ;_; That explains why i'm constantly checked for buying smokes. >_<
We started out covering lots of Jrock. I've did mostly X Japan; we also did some Laruku and Dir en grey. Then we kinda went our separate ways due to musical differences and while i *ahem* honed my singing and guts in karaoke pubs and random KTV sessions with friends, my bassist went and joined many different bands and gained lots of experiences and exposure. Now he's my band leader. And I think i have become more stable in using my voice and am more confident as a vocalist. Though, i am still very awkward with listening to myself. LOL. Now we're trying to write our own songs. I've just recorded my first song, so it's pretty amazing! XD I hope to let all of you here listen to it when it's done!
GREEN! My fav color. I'll have to say that I love the mythical quality of aborigine tattoos here that I have seen on TV before. So do you like get free tattoo in a Tattoo Con? It is like an international showcase of professionals and their best works. Is it?? I'm so blur with these things. =_____= Can't wait to see how awesometastic the expansion will turn out! :D
Hahaha!! You certainly look legal enough though. I still remember this salesperson of a not-quite-sex shop obnoxiously kick me out of the shop due to my youthful look.
X Japan and Diru got lots of great, fun songs to cover! Do you do that throaty growl of Kyo as well? I get what u mean by awkward discomfort of listening to your voice. My scariest moment is a taped presentation. I cringe at listening to my own voice, more so than watching myself. Haha. Congrats on your virgin recording! Would love to hear it!
