home again
ahh it has been a glorious week away from my house and nashua! but now we're home and work is calling bright and early tomorrow morning.
so my mini vacation put me at the beach for a week with al and my parents. things included in this trip were:
sitting practically on top of al on the ride there AND back. (our car is WAY too small for long trips), seeing a hot guy whom has been dubbed "taffy boy", because the he works at the taffy shop near our house. (two words: ow. ow.), getting a semi-tan, which has started to become unbearably painful and has made me be amazingly thankful that i have never been in a fire or seriously burned, because oh holy shit does my back hurt. umm, it rained a lot. but i love rain, so i really couldnt have cared less. i got to sleep a lot, i went to the jet concert with al, and the lead singer (who is just too cool) hobbles out on a crutch, beer in one hand, cigarette in the other, and tells the crowd that he broke his foot. so he straps on the guitar and performs on one foot for over an hour. and smoked. and drank. it was beautiful. hahaha. al and i also watched one of those terrible countdown shows, but this one was better than your average "awesomely bad hair" type countdown show. no less vain, it cover sexiest guys of 2003. yes 2003. apparently they just arent sexy yet in 2004. but i digress. colin farrell was number one, much to my parents dismay because i told them we werent leaving the house until we saw which number he was, and they had to sit thru the whole show. haha i was amused. orlando bloom came in at number 19, which made allison get up and dance. so umm, i guess we just hung out in the arcades and played video games all week. it amazes me at the level of video game play i can manage to get in wherever i am. haha. i guess im just good like that.
since i have no concept of time, i have no idea when this week this stuff happened. but it did.
today i worked at good ol' market basket, then went to the movies with al to see "a cinderella story". that movie was surprisingly really good. so no for guys, but any guy that goes to see it willingly probably isnt too into girls in the first place.
so im now gonna go watch south park. later darlings.
