♪ I saw JUMP in Miyagi on both Saturday and Sunday last weekend! Saturday we had the expected seats, in the back few rows, but Sekisui Heim Super Arena is so small that honestly the third to last row wasn't even bad. With binoculars I was able to watch Inochan quite closely, and we were near to the center stage, so that was good! But then on ( Read more... )

it's big news, ultra music power!, traveling is my life, i think we are friends

I'm glad you got to see Yuma! It's too bad you didn't get to see KAT-TUN, but I'm sure they'll tour again soon enough! Kids these days don't understand the glory of older Johnny's groups, ahaha.

I'm sorry this is so late, but actually, Arashi has different balloting policies than other groups, so since I've never balloted for Arashi before, I can't really say what's best for Arashi! I've found that balloting for unpopular venues is the best option for getting tickets, but the day of the week doesn't really matter in my experience with not-Arashi groups. People have all sorts of conspiracy theories about how to hit (ask for only 2 seats, ask for only even numbers of seats, ballot with only new fanclub memberships, ballot with only old fanclub memberships, etc etc) but I really do think it's just random selection, and there's no real rhyme or reason, so you should just ballot for the shows you want to go to, haha.

Aww, that's too bad. There are official subtitles from the Hong Kong (?) TV channel "Gem TV" that have been circulating online, as well as some subtitles being posted in the NEWS LJ community, so if you're still interested in watching, those might help! I'd be interested to hear your thoughts if you do watch more. ^^

Thank you! I had only marginal luck for JUMP's dome tour, but I'm hoping for better for NEWS haha. I hope you're still settling in well and such!

Thank you! I'm currently restraining myself from buying mega-expensive resale tickets for KAT-TUN in Osaka haha, hopefully they'll tour again while I'm here and I can ballot for myself.

Speaking of balloting, I didn't hit for Arashi. :( Shocking, I know haha. I've basically resigned myself to not going barring a miracle because resale is insane, but if you hear anything will you let me know? It seems like most of the people who hit are keeping their tickets though, minus the Hokkaido shows, as most of the twitter posts are people asking for tickets rather than selling them. Speaking of Hokkaido, I can tell that's an unpopular venue that is strategic to ballot for, but what else would be unpopular? Obviously Tokyo and Osaka aren't haha, Osaka seems worse than Tokyo for resale prices even. Is Nagoya unpopular enough? Fukuoka? And since you mention two tickets, would it be better to ballot for two than for one? I entered for one, but two tickets at face value is still way cheaper than one at resale value.

I'll look into that! I've been busy running around or planning future running around, but hopefully soon I'll chill and catch up on some dramas. Your take in your most recent post is definitely intriguing, so I'm curious to see if I'd have the same impression.

I've also finally listened more to HSJ's album! I really like the second part of the album from FLASH onwards, fairly genki and fun to listen to. I especially like City Wander because part of the chorus sounds like a Gloria Estefan song and it amuses me...

I actually have more to say re:HSJ and NEWS tickets but I think I'll leave that comment on your most recent post, as it makes most sense there. Sorry if the double commenting is weird!

Aww, I totally understand that feeling. Luckily, JET pays really well, so it also might be possible to buy some mega-expensive tickets once you've been here for a little while, depending on your specific situation and stuff. ^^

Yeah, unfortunately, it's not too surprising, but that still sucks. Again, depending on your price range, once the gates come out, unpopular gates for Hokkaido or Fukuoka might be cheaper. I'm sorry I'm not well versed on Arashi resales and such, but what I've heard from friends, it's much easier to hit for Hokkaido, and also possible to hit for Fukuoka. I think Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo are probably all equally hard to hit for (though maaaaybe out of all of those, Nagoya might be the easiest?), sadly. I don't really buy into any of the theories about odd versus even number of tickets, or one versus two (versus three or four for other groups); I've hit and not hit with every possible combination now over the past 7 years.

Aww, yay, I'm glad to hear that! I can understand the desire to explore when you've just moved here, though! Hopefully you'll have some time to relax soon.

Yay! I'm really glad that you like it. Sense or Love wasn't my favorite JUMP album by far, but I did really enjoy a some of the songs. (Though my friend's boyfriend was convinced they were saying "Stevie Wonder" rather than "City Wander" lmao).

No, not weird at all! Thank you so much for all the comments, I really appreciate it! I'll reply the other one next~
