First and foremost, I've finally updated my JE fic archive and regular fic archive! That's all my fics for 2013~
Next, I decided to do this fic meme again! I haven't done it in a long time, because for this first time since 2010, I'm actually proud of how much fic I wrote this year. I know 35 fics isn't that much, but it's better than I've been doing, so I want to pat myself on the back.

Looking back, did you write more fics than you thought you would this year, less than you thought, or about what you predicted?
I wrote more than I thought I would! My New Year's resolution last year was to try for 25, and I made it to 35! I'm really proud of myself.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2010?
I'm going to have to go with Sexy Boyz |D;;; Seeing as, one year ago, I was grumbling about how they needed to gtfo so I could see more Bakaleya6, I probably would not have predicted I'd end up writing several fics about them. Also, Kamen Teacher. XD I really did not expect to like Kamen Teacher, and definitely not as much as I did. So I was really surprised when I popped out four Kamen Teacher fics before the movie even comes out. XD;
What’s your favorite story this year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you the happiest.
This is a hard question. XD I think I might go with clear blue, because it came out exactly like I wanted it to, with really tight imagery and stuff. Other than that, I'm proud of where my heart belongs because I feel like it sums up the change in my feelings about Yamada, and I'm stupidly proud of public affair, the on and on and on remix, my longest fic of 2013 and, I think, a pretty good remix.
Okay, NOW your most popular story.
According to A03, my top number of hits for 2013 is 勝利また勝利, my top for kudos in 2013 is where my heart belongs, and on LJ, to the freedom has the most comments (and I'm really surprised by that, actually). Since people don't really comment on fic anymore, it's hard for me to tell which of my fics people like, and it makes me sad, because then I can't write more of what people like. But... oh well. I'm really happy and appreciative for all the comments that I do get!
Story most under appreciated by the universe?
Probably clear blue? Not many people like Yugo very much, so even though I think the quality of the fic is really good, the content probably makes most readers not really care as much?
Story that could have been better?
Not really sure about this. I wrote a lot of short drabbles that were really just pointless drbbles, but I don't think that they necessarily were "bad" fics because of it. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that I'm not as proud of as I might be.
Sexiest story?
I didn't write like any porn this year x__x I forgot how, or something. I guess this has to go to Independence Day, since it's literally the only high-rated fic I wrote in 2013, but I still don't think it's that sexy :/
Most fun story?
I had a lot of fun writing clouds in his coffee, because Jinchan is ridiculous. XD; I also think daitai daijoubu was pretty fun to write, because it was interesting to write a sort of slice-of-life fic set in a presumably AU but not that AU future.
Story with single sweetest moment?
pretty words like love, where my heart belongs, and just love all sort of center around sweet moments? I dunno, I like writing about this sort of heart-squeezing relationship XD;;
The story that made you cry?
I definitely cried writing clear blue XD;; I'll have to reread the rest and see if there's anything else... XD;
Hardest story to write?
Probably public affair, the on and on and on remix, just because it was so long and involved, but it was also probably the most rewarding to write ♥
Easiest story to write?
Surprisingly, clear blue came to me as one complete idea and I wrote it in one sitting in less than two hours.
Most overdue story?
Maybe Stupid? |D Overdue in a fandom sense, that is, because who wouldn't want Kame/Yugo? |D;;; But really, since I generally tend to write unpopular pairings, especially with my Juniors fics, I think that I could say a lot of my fics were ~overdue in fandom. The world needs more Hokuto/Fuma, Yugo-centric, and Jinguji/Reia fics!
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
I participated in an exchange for the first time! I did je_holiday this year, and it seems like the whole thing came off without a hitch! I'm happy that my recipient really seemed to like her fic, and that someone gave me something awesome that I wanted!
Do you have any fanfic goals for the New Year?
I'd like to keep up my current pace, if at all possible. I like having time to RP, translate, make icons, and, of course, go to Tokyo and go to concerts and everything, but I really am happy to be able to write a decent number of fics in the year. So if I can write 35 (or, of course, more) fics in 2014, I'll be really happy!
Leitmotif of the year:
Um... feelings? XD As always, I write fics in which not much happens but people feel a lot of feelings and think a lot of thoughts, so... yeah. Oops? XD;

Like I said, I didn't write much porn, so >___> I guess it has to be Independence Day. Sob. I'm sorry I suck.

My personal preferences aside, I try to keep my fics socially acceptable, so that a wider audience can enjoy them.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
Probably public affair, the on and on and on remix, because so much thought and effort went into it. I think I was really able to develop and express my feelings about Kis-My-Ft2 through it.
Biggest surprise:
That I managed to write 35 fics? XD; I don't really get what this question is asking. XD;
Story I haven't yet written, but intend to:
I have a few WIPs and a few ideas, especially for the Bakaleya and Bad Boys J universes, but I don't want to say anything here and jinx myself, so... I guess, all I'll say is, I'll do my best from now on, too!
