Busaiku?

So it's official?

I'm really surprised that this actually came to fruition. I'm tentatively happy for Yokoo, Miyata, Senga, and Nika, because they deserve a chance to be in the limelight, but I really don't want this to break the group apart even further than it already is. The KisuMai split is part of what completely pushed me out of KisuMai for a long time, and I'm honestly sort of still trying to come to peace with them as a group (very expensive concert tickets I just purchased aside), and while I want this to be a good thing, being the pessimist that I am, I'm worried. I don't want to see KisuMai ripped apart further than they already have been. But... I'm going to buy it. I don't know if the unit is a good idea in the long run, but I want to show that I support the guys, and I want to help give them their own success, if I can. Also, I do have to say, 舞祭組 for "Busaiku" is like really adorable.

Still, watching old Shounen Club episodes, listening to Daybreaker, reading ABC-Z members saying in passing that they miss working and hanging out with KisuMai... it breaks my heart a little.

Mostly, I feel like this whole thing just... makes me respect Nakai so much. At first, I was hurt by his poking fun at the back four, but I realized over time by the things he said to them during music shows that he was actually trying to draw attention to the inequality of it all, and was trying to give them chances to talk and to be the center of attention. I started to think he was as bothered by it as I was, and seeing this happen really proves it. I think... if anything comes out of this, it's that I really respect Nakai a lot more now.

Completely unrelated, though, I'm really happy to see that Nakai has a new music show. I was sad when Kayou Kyoku ended.

...hopefully this entry was coherent. I'm so sleep deprived. >___>;
