RUDDY, Shane - Passed away tragically as a result of an accident on Tuesday April 18, 2006 at the age of 19. Beloved son of Chris and Deberah Ruddy. Cherished brother of Sara. Dearly loved grandson of Jake and Liz Redikop and Cliff and the late Grace Ruddy. Dear nephew of Nancy (Tim) Jenkins, Lisa (Rich) Merlino, Tim (Marge) Ruddy and Patti Ruddy (Sean Kelly). Sadly missed by many cousins. Shane was a graduate of Niagara District Secondary School and was in the Hotel and Restaurant Management program at Niagara College. He was an accomplished athlete, excelling at hockey, soccer and lacrosse. Shane is sadly missed by his many friends. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of Shane's life will be held on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's United Church. A private family interment will take place on Monday at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. To honour Shane's love of children donations to Tender Wishes would be appreciated by his family. Shane would also want all those who attend the visitation and service to be comfortable so please dress casual. On-line condolences at
