i'm listening to the 'equal rights'-album by peter tosh, i absolutely love it (and there is no better way to listen to this than in vinyl-format, aaah..), it's a great album, though i wish it was longer (4 songs on each side, 8 in total, waaahh). "stepping razor" is my fave song off it. i remember i saw the movie about tosh a few years ago, "stepping razor, red x". if i remember correctly he was shot dead by the 'jamaican mafia'. even though i keep thinking i wish i could have seen jamaica in the 70s i guess it might not have been such a good idea. ;P
this is feel-good music at its best (how can i say songs about apartheid and injustice are "feel-good music"??). summer, hurry up.
