Video Games and Music!
The new update to the Xbox dashboard came out today. It's pretty interesting. If anything it was well worth it for the ability to install games onto your harddrive. I took a test drive on it with Call of Duty 4 and it loaded much faster, smoother, and the machine did not make the horrible loud fan noise that it is known for.
Another neat feature is the abilit to stream Netflix instant movies on the 360. I just watched Pan's Labyrinth in HD and it was awesome (barring a few bandwith issues when i tried to get it started, but it played smoothly with no interruptions after that). I don't know why I didnt have netflix before, I think i'll have fun with it.
The new x-box live experience was definitely an upper to my mostly downer day.
In other news, we had a particularly rewarding jam session yesterday with keli, and it would seem our most ambitious song yet is in it's infant stages. All I can say is think Pink Floyd, indulge in any psychotropic you deem necessary, and enjoy!
