School shpeal.

I haven't really written anything substantial in this thing in a while. Whew. Last week was soooo long. Classes are going pretty well. I'm taking Middle Eastern History from 1800 to present (and I'm not exactly sure why we are learning all this shit that happened in the 10th century), Intro. to Historical Research, Sexuality and Society, and Birth and Parenthood. I have 17 books for all my classes... and I only have one book for my sex class. Fun fun fun. The Middle East class seems difficult right now. My first test is two weeks from yesterday... and we have a map portion! Uh, please help. We have to know all the countries and their capitals, all bodies of water (lakes, seas, oceans, canals, straights), and all mountain ranges. Woo-fucking-hoo.

Historical Research doesn't seem as hard or involved as I thought it would be. We have to write three papers and do a 5-min. oral presentation at the end. So far it's pretty basic.

Sex and Society is awesome. I love my teacher. She's like 34 years old and very open-minded and interesting. I think it's my favorite class. Who wouldn't like to talk about sex?

Birth and Parenthood. Hm. I'm not too sure I like this one. Honestly, I thought it would be an easy course. Something I could learn a little and easily get an A. Nope. We have so much fucking reading. And so far, I've become very informed about what not to do when you're pregnant/delivering. It's scared me. Hopefully the rest of the class will be better.

I only have one final during the actual final exam days... Sex and Soc. All the other ones are the last day of class. I have a paper in each class this semester (and 3 in HIST3000). All my profs are attendence nazis. Guess I'll have to go to class this semester.

Anyway, it's good to be back in school. I hope I keep up with all my reading, but I don't really think it should be that big of a problem. I want all A's this semester. Hell yeah.

Speaking of reading... I should go do that.
