ok, so we got a new dog!!!!!! yay for us. his name, as you might have guessed, is havoc. this was already his name, and he knows it, and we like it, so we're keeping it. he's a cutey black and white hound/lab mix. he's got a BIG HEAD. and he's all black with black and white spotty paws. we don't have him at home yet because he's getting neutered at the spca, but we can pick him up on wednesday! pictures will surely follow!!!!!!

one day about 7 or 8 years ago, brooke and i sat at the old daily grind. back when it had a brick cave-like room at the back. we were college kids, writing in our books and smoking like little grownups. in my silly-angsty-depressive way, i looked over at a dog-owner, sighed, and stated,"ONE DAY WE WILL ALL HAVE DOGS, AND THE DOGS WILL BE HAPPY." well, now i am that one day. yay for me.

ps. i hope our dog is a wild party that creates havoc in our house every day.
