[ So a certain someone is hanging out in the first floors of the Tower, lurking in the metal beams and rafters near the glass ceiling. He's sitting above the food court area, dividing his attention between the sky and the people milling below ( Read more... )

[Coincidentally enough, it happens to be lunchtime for crows ravens. He's sitting at the sushi bar, waiting OH-SO-PATIENTLY for beef teriyaki that, for some reason, is going to take a half hour to cook. But fine, whatever, he can wait. ...Although, if he knew Reyson were sitting in the rafters like a mouse, he might've given up on the teriyaki and found somewhere else to eat.]

[...Avoiding Reyson? Of course not. >_>]

[ Oh. It's you. Though Reyson's feelings had substantially settled since the last time they'd met, Naesala's sudden presence brought the feelings surging back, albeit weaker this time.

.. but that doesn't stop him from plucking a fried onion from his skewer and dropping it onto Naesala's head from above. ]

[kfdhbf??? Naesala looks around like he'd just been assaulted. Was someone throwing things at him?! But no one looks suspicious... at least, no more than usual. Was it raining onions? Naesala looks up and.]

[Oh.]

[Oh.]

[Um. He grins his cheesiest grin and waves at Reyson. Hi, Reyson. ♥ Please don't hurt your BFF Naesala. ;;]

[ And just as Naesala looks up, a roasted pepper falls right onto his upturned face. ]

[....Okay, he deserved that. Really. Naesala peels it off his nose and eats it. Cold, but delicious. ♥ With a word to the chef at the sushi stand, he steps on the counter (Er, they don't appreciate that, but oh well.) and flaps his wings hard to get airborne. Not an easy feat, a take-off like that, but Naesala's well-practiced at lifting off in cramped spaces. He alights on a beam a short distance from Reyson and puts his hands on his hips.]

You know, you really should eat your food instead of throwing it around. You're skinny enough as it is.

I'm sure that I don't remember asking your opinion. [ Scowling, he tugs off a bit of pepper and pops it defiantly into his mouth. ]

Oh, sorry. I thought throwing it in my face was an open invitation. Some kind of heron... thing.

[Naesala walks down the beam and takes a seat within arm's length of Reyson. Close enough to talk, but not quite close enough to be safely hit.]

That was pretty good, though. Where'd you get it from?

[ That is probably the wisest course of action, considering your face puts him in the mood to hit something. Poor old crow. Reyson takes another crunchy bite. ]

No, it was not an invitation. And yes, it is very good. I purchased it from a shop near the end.

[That's why he's not in hitting range. Smart, right? He wants to talk to you anyway, Reyson, even if you're in a bad mood. ...Because of him. FHL. Anyway, he's just going to make casual conversation until you force him to do otherwise. ...Or until his teriyaki's done. Whichever comes first.]

Which end? The greek place?

[ Unfortunately, Reyson doesn't appreciate the sentiment. He's upset with you, crow, and the last thing he wants is to make forced smalltalk with you. ]

Yes, that. Why are you here?

[Aw, but forced small-talk is great! Don't knock it 'til you try it.]

What, do I need a reason to talk to you now? I'm just saying hello, finding out how you are. You doing okay?

[ Oh he'll knock it, all right. ]

.. yes, I'm doing fine, Naesala. Stop pretending as if you care, and move along, little crow.
