and this little masochist... she's lifting up her Dress

Tired. Yoyo moods and yoyo dieting. You can train yourself into anything.
Insane comment from Dave put me in a bouncy happy grinning! mindframe and now I'm staring aimlessly at the keys and observing how generally pathetic I am, because I can, and because if I didn't, you would be dreadfully disappointed. You would stare at your screen and say HANNIE! YOU BINT! WHERE'S YOUR WHINING GONE! And I wouldn't even bother to reply, as I would be skipping off into the sunset with only a copy of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and my good friend Miggy to keep me company.

Miggy is fantastic. Today I have been explaining the post-war political, economic and social situation in Italy to her, though she kept on turning her back on me and dribbling on my nice clean notepad. (Isn't stationery wonderful stuff? Especially when it's new and clean and all potential.)

I have what will doubtlessly go down in history as The Most Beautiful Coat In The World. Keep your pinstripe, your elegance and your velvet jackets! I have no more need of them, for I have... my coat. Tis red. Cherry red. And 60sesque, made in 1966 according to the info-label. It is humungous and belted and I shall prance around as if I were the queen of the ball! Possibly.
Using this to distract myself from The Most Beautiful Dress In The World, which I need, even though I already have a slightly similar one. It has a tight black bodice with bones and polka dots (well duh), a long flouncy net skirt with yet more polka dots, it makes me look like a waspish elegant prancing pony princess and CURSES to whatever misfortunes and personal failings mean that I have known of this dress for nearly a year now and yet still haven't mustered the money to make it Mine.
