Well, it is currently 11:19 pm and I have just finished my last final exam. I had four of them today. It would have been five, but thankfully my professor for my screenwriting class decided to count the 110 page screenplay that I turned in last week as the final.
No one should ever have to take all of their finals the same day. NO ONE. Well, only people on Santa's naughty list. Oh my gosh!!! I'm on the naughty list.
Haaa... No, I AM DONE... that's what I am! Well, almost.
I am officially a senior at the University of North Florida.
PRAISE THE LORD!
It's time to start my Christmas Break off with some flare.
And by flare I mean making salads at seven in the morning and being a slave to the sandwich station until three o'clock. Now THAT is flare.
Hopefully, if my plan goes well... I'll be getting paid to make coffee for St. Johns Town Center shoppers or UNF Students (depends which location hires me) next semester while working my freelance job at the Clay Today. I'm thinking one article a month should suffice. Well, considering I'm taking an Advanced Reporting class next semester that requires I interview newsworthy sources, write stores in newspapers' grand AP style, fact check info and sources, and then get the article published... (For no monetary compensation, might I add) ... I think I just might have enough on my plate.
It's looking like I'll be writing about three articles a month, working 40+ hours a week with one (maybe two) jobs, and maybe doing some freelance photography on the side. Santa's bringing me a manual camera for Christmas. I can't wait.
Spring semester should be interesting. I finish classes on the fourth, have rehearsal on the fifth, and then I'm getting married the sixth. I pick up my dress next week. Dennis and I went menu tasting at the restaurant we chose and cake tasting at two different locations last month. That was fun...and yummy. It's time to start choosing vendors. Scary!
Every day is moving by so fast. Geez. It's been months since I've seen my parents. I miss them. I didn't get to spend turkey day with them, but they should be here for Christmas. YAY!
