Time to restart this whole LJ thing
I was talking to Tina recently and Live Journal came up and I realized that is been almost 6 years since the last time I wrote in this thing. So I figured why not. I am thinking we need to bring LJ back and go all retro.
A lot has changed in my life since the last time I wrote in this thing. I quit going to WMU for the time being to save some money and ended up joining the Navy. Joining the Navy turned out to be a good choice so far. Im stationed in San Diego, and who doesn't like sunny SoCal. I did a deployment to the Arabian Gulf this past year, 2011. It had its ups and downs but overall turned out to be a great learning experience for me. I learned a lot about myself and professionally. I was able to knock a lot of qualifications out of the way too and thats always a plus.
While I was home on leave after my deployment I got a chance to meet one the coolest people Ive met to date. She turned out to be my girlfriend and I couldnt be happier in that sense. Shes an amazing girl and keeps me happy. Tina is coming out to visit here in about 11 days so that should be a good time. Ive got a lot of ideas of things we want to do while shes out here.
