It has been a really long time since I have written in here. I guess I will just say this........I am living with Aaron and I love him more than anything. We have been together for almost a year already which I cannot believe. (it will be a year at the end of January) We have been living together for almost six months already, time really does fly now it seems. We have painted the bedrooms and taken out the carpets so it is all now hardwood floor in the house and we painted the bathroom and put wall-paper border up in there and hung new curtains and mini blinds in the entire house. We have also put up new pictures and gotten new couches and love seats in the living room. We are working on getting barstools for the bar, pictures for the kitchen and entry way and a few other odds and ends, but the house is coming along quite nicely. I love living in a house where I can do what I want whenever I want and I get to see the reward. I also love living with Aaron, he is the best man I have ever met in my life.
We went to Canada this summer for a couple of weeks and saw Niagra Falls which was just amazing. I started my new job a few months ago and I am loving it all of the way. I also worked at a costume shop here in town for the Halloween season which was tons of fun. My car is still wonderful and I have taken plenty of road trips in it thus far. I am having Thanksgiving at my house this year which is coming up soon. I am having friends and family over, both sets of parents which will be the first time they will meet. Someone get me something to drink heehee.
This is a recap of the Halloween fun for Aaron and I..........
Thursday was dress-up at Blue Shield and I was a sexy soldier for that day. I wore a tiny green mini skirt and DNKY Army shirt and a leather black hat with Army patches on it and a garter with a little gun on it and boots. We had a catering service in there and I didn't eat anything for some reason. I went out to dinner that night with the Aaron Bear and had yummy mexican food at one of my favorite local places.
I had Friday off at Blue Shield but I worked all day at the costume shop because they were slammed and then some. I got out of there and came home to get ready for the Tainted Love concert. Aaron and I had both had rough days and it was almost no go to the concert. We decided to end up going out and I am still not sure if it was worthwhile or not. So, I wore a Ramones skirt, blue tights, yellow and pink leg warmers, old school checkered Vans, a guitar necklace, tons of bangles and an armband, fishnet gloves and a huge pink clip in my hair, can we say 80's as all get out? I had fun with it. It was funny when we got there and you could tell that some people had just gotten things out of their closet that they still had from the 80's. I saw a dress that I swear my mom used to go out to the bars in when she was in her 20's. If it wasn't the same dress it was very much like it, cracked me up. The concert was fun and all but Aaron wasn't in the mood for it so we stayed for only the first half of the show. We went to another bar and then left early and got into a huge fight on the way home, it was that we were both really drunk and had emotionally charged days. I just never want to fight like that again. Things are better though and I think it might have been good to get everything out in the open.
We went to lunch with Aaron's brother and his brother's friend on Saturday afternoon and had a blast. I got a new joke from that experience so here it goes......Why don't you go down on a girl in the morning? Answer: Have you ever tried to pull apart a cold grilled cheese sandwich? =) Good times. The rest of the day was spent cleaning and watching movies and such.
Yesterday we got all dressed up in costume, they turned out so perfectly. We got pictures taken all over the place. Strangers were taking our pictures even, it was great. I will post them up on here soon! We went to lunch at the Bear which is a college hangout and restaurant/saloon. We had lunch and a beer there and then walked down to a bar for one drink. We went to Safeway to get alcohol before going out. We cracked up everyone in the store because I was walking Aaron on a dog collar and chain. Priceless memory! We had some Smirnoff Ice before going out for the night and then walked downtown. At first the bars were dead but around 11 everyone was out in full force. Everyone loved our costumes and we had a lot of fun! We went to U-Bar, Panama's, Town Lounge, Duffy's, Normal St. and Mr. Lucky's and had a drink or two at all of them. Needless to say, we were good and mighty drunk and that would be the understatement of the year. I think I had a rum and coke, a couple Red Bull and Jagers, a couple raspberry vodka and lemonade, a few shots, a Long Island iced tea and a Bloody Mary (of all things). This was on top of the 3-4 Smirnoff Ices I had before going out too. heehee. I am a bad, bad girl. At the end of the night I guess that I went into 7-11 and I bought a bottle of water (good thinking on the drunk girl's part eh?), Spicy V-8 (what the hell was my deal with the Bloody Mary stuff last night???) and a Skor bar that I never ate. Weirdness. I do not remember this store trip and find it funny. Poor Aaron was getting sick in the alley behind 7-11. It was so much fun to have a slave for a night and walk him around on a leash in front of people. Even the cops loved us, they made me spank him with my whip in front of them. I had a blast but not this morning, let me tell you.
So I guess that's about that for now.........I will try not to be such a stranger!!! heehee.
Love,
Deseray
