another thing we did this weekend was volunteer at QCGA on Saturday morning. they have a bunch of new dogs, and I completely fell for Berg. Berg is a bounce, due to health issues with his owner, originally adopted directly from the track in Dubuque. he's gotta be pretty unhappy and confused to be back in a kennel again ( Read more... )

we took him over to Colette's Monday night after dinner, to introduce him to Reb and Athena. he was so happy! he ran around, and he really wanted to play with Reb. Reb was not in a playful mood for some reason, though, which was too bad. hopefully Randy will find some other doggies in the group who are willing to play ( Read more... )

Randy is going in to be vetted today, which means neuter, teeth cleaned, and from what I understand, probably some x-rays of his hind leg. assuming things go okay in surgery, I gather he'll be ready for us to bring home this weekend already ( Read more... )
