I think that sounds like a pretty dreadful 'party' too.

But I have very little sympathy for people who are whining about turning 30 right now--I'll be 40 next month.

heh. well, it's all a matter of perspective. it's funny, because so many children want to be adults, but then once someone hits 21, they often start backpedaling like mad, not wanting to embrace the horribly dreaded 30.

Sounds like a total drag to me. If you're a jerk, then at least you're in good company, 'cause I'd feel the same way. XD

(Also, 30's no big deal. I didn't start falling apart 'til I was at least 35. XD)
